CATA (Community Access to the Arts) nurtures and celebrates the creativity of people with disabilities through shared experiences in the visual and performing arts. On May 9, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, CATA created a virtual gala, featuring a film using home-made footage by CATA artists, Zoom interviews with CATA faculty, archival footage of past CATA galas, and gala rehearsal footage from just before the pandemic shut everything down. The result is an entertaining overview of the CATA artists and arts programs, with insight into the process behind CATA’s success.
